Abstract
Gamification has emerged as an effective technique to foster student motivation and continuous practice in e-learning environments. However, building custom gamification logic into every educational tool requires significant engineering overhead. This paper presents Odin, an independent RESTful microservice dedicated to managing gamification mechanics for learning activities. Odin allows external platforms—such as IDEs, LMSs, and automated code evaluators—to define gamification rules, track user actions, calculate XP, grant achievement badges, and render live leaderboards.
